Are you a lover of built heritage? Don't leave us without visiting the episcopal city of Meaux, a unique architectural complex in the Ile-de-France region and one of the best-preserved cities in France; the remains of the Château de Montceaux-Lès-Meaux, once the property of Catherine de' Medici, Gabrielle d'Estrées and then Marie de' Medici; or the Trilbardou power plant, an unusual industrial heritage site listed as a historic monument.

Nature lovers can enjoy the Pâtis nature park, the largest urban park in the Ile-de-France region boasting 150 hectares of vegetation. Take a walk in the Montceaux-Lès-Meaux forest, or stroll along the Marne or Ourcq canal to discover the local flora and fauna.

Are you more of a gourmet? If so, make a detour to the Maison du Brie de Meaux (House of Brie Museum in Meaux) and the Fromagerie Saint Faron, the home of PDO Brie in Meaux. You'll also find our famous cheese in many restaurants in the Meaux region.
