From 09/09/23 to 19/08/24, the Musée de la Grande Guerre is staging a brand new photo exhibition: Soldats sportifs, pratiques sportives dans l'armée de 1914 à nos jours.
Description
This exhibition will plunge you into the world of sports during the First World War!
Sport played an important role in the preparation of soldiers, but it was also a means of discovery, escape and cohesion during the conflict. This exhibition will showcase the various forms of physical exercise practised by the fighting world, from the Great War to the present day.
Learn more about the evolution and impact of sport during the 1914-1918 war, and more broadly within the army and society of the time.
